One of the cool possibilities is creating more advanced SVG filters and applying it to the backdrop with url(). At least in Chrome anyway. I made one not long ago that pixelates everything behind
Hanging out for Partitioned cookies to be fixed. Supposedly they were enabled in 26.2 but the same partitioned cookies that work in Chrome and Firefox do not work in Safari for us.
In today's battle with the new IE, Safari, Partitioned cookies (CHIPS) don't seem to work at all even though they claim to support them in 26.2? Firefox and Chrome work beautifully, but just more grief from Safari
For most layouts I find it much easier to compose layouts from flexbox 'stack' components than using grid. Grid usually requires setting up template areas and rules around changing how many rows/columns at different sizes, vs nesting flexbox with wrap is much simpler
Occasionally I wish there was a background-opacity CSS property to set the overall opacity of an element's background, since there isn't a way to change the opacity of a background image

I agree, I use it day to day in an app and while it doesn't use the modern setup, still, the ability to compose actions to perform complex operations on a json 'document', with features like batching changes, contextual undo, and then be able to generate and sync patches to other clients, is amazing
Rspack will gain traction. Let's be honest, most projects are still using webpack because migrating to something else is way too much effort. Rspack is a simple migration to get huge perf boost
