Yaaay what are your favorite stuff to do in the game?
is it more interesting I think when a game is bad because the devs were trying so hard to be awesome
rather than it being bad because the devs weren't really trying
There are fun bad games nowadays, but they do seem to be bad in different ways
like asset flips and lazy copies of simulator stuff that are popular
back in the day, it does feel like there was less saturation in the So Bad Its Good game market
well, games are indeed about the fun you get outta them heheh
Just gotta say I did not expect it to be there!
there are some old PS1 games that my friends love to use cheat codes in
and it makes them incredibly fun janky games
why is Ride To Hell there xD
I've recommended EEAAO to my friends, to my little brother and his friends from high school (they watched it at home and they cried)
I showed it to my friends, to my partner, watched it on Discord
and they all cried too
Feels good to release those emotions we didn't realize were holding in <3
I still use the lessons I learned from EEAAO to this day
whenever I feel my mind wandering to other possibilities and potentially better ways my life could have been
or getting caught in negative scenarios I made up in my mind
EEAAO was a film that already understood how I think and I felt so seen
Happy 4-year anniversary to Everything Everywhere All At Once!
I watched EEAAO in early 2022, and it literally changed my life by giving me a blueprint for how to better handle my existentially anxious thoughts
Every friend I've shown this movie to has cried :3
I cried like a baby

Pokopia is great in ways I didn't even need in order to enjoy it
- they/them Pokemon, even ones that are often gendered by fans
- Pokemon quizzing you on in-game info (I wanted quizzes in ACNH)
- be roomies with a Pokemon
- minigames
- modern day urbex
- Liminal Spaces
- crying

weather update: 55 hours later, Pokemon Pokopia is my #1
fun, dynamic, thoughtful, creative, humorous, surprising, vast, 10/10 technicals, cute as hell, perfect portably, specific things that make it excellent in general and specifically to me
been waiting for a game like this #TribLovesVideoGames
I love that we all agree Sly 2 is the most Sly of all the Sly π

Happy #MAR10Day! if you're gonna make a multi-tiered cake, NEVER FORGET THE INNER SUPPORT STRUCTURE.
Yeah! The hotel was great because it was basically the more home-y version of HHP, but still missing that city-ness of Main street
I'm not sure how they'd do a fully 3D Animal Crossing, but I'm happy to wait and be surprised by what they do.
I looooved seeing familiar faces on Main Street in AC New Leaf. Plus it was nice contrast to the more naturey town area. ACNH has HHP for me to feel that more structured city area, though it's still all tropical all around. And at least the hotel let us see familiar faces again.
Yes! The Tourists update was a dream come true, because it introduced that element of surprise and newness when we log in every day
plus, they also still inhabit our islands, so it kinda feels like we have more villagers
and yes, having roomies would make for some fun possibilities for interaction
I do have things like flowers, instruments, and music players outside, but it's true that there's not much depth to their interactions
as someone with 1,800+ hours in my beloved Animal Crossing New Horizons, the flaws of that game are pretty glaring, which means improving it would be easy
it needs more varied dialogue, more types of interactivity, more streamlined gameplay (some which were solved...6 years later in updates)
my idea for the next Animal Crossing to step it up is they should set it in a much busier environment
like a city!! maybe a combo city and nature area
I'd love to have things like
jobs
schedules
I wanna see villagers doing stuff that isn't just walking around~
less relaxy, more life-y!
Pokopia has ruined ACNH for me in the best way possible
I wondered if I'd ever feel so strongly about a game again, then it made me realize that life still has pleasant surprises and wonder in store
Video games make me *feel*
The next Animal Crossing needs to step up BIG time

<3 I have such a soft spot for Pokemon Sword & Shield
I love those doggos
Remembering a nice interaction I had with a delivery person
they were an older man who put pointy cat ears on their motorcycle helmet
I complimented the cat ears, and they smiled
I asked why he wears them, and he said: "wala lang, cute kasi" ('nothing much they're just cute')

oh! I only have chesto and leppa and the sour one... aspear I think
If a 9 years old can do it, any adult saying "I can't draw." can do it as well. No more excuses.
