With January being Glaucoma Awareness Month, we wanted to introduce you to our glaucoma team. First is our glaucoma chief, Dr. Karen Allison. Dr. Allison has more than 25 years of experience treating glaucoma, including therapies, surgeries, and laser procedures.

On her birthday, we remember the late Dr. Mina Chung. Dr. Chung brought a bright light to everyone she knew. She was a great clinician, mentor, and friend to so many. To honor her legacy, we created the Mina M. Chung Professorship.

Our next service chief is our neurology chief, Dr. Zoë Williams. Dr. Williams is conducting new research into optic nerve imaging modalities. She completed her residency at the University of Rochester, before then completing a fellowship at Johns Hopkins University.
