Oh no. Sh*t!
Ugh. Just ugh. Does this indicate a flaw, or gnawing pests of some kind???
Look on website Simply Socks! And be certain you buy yarn that is a wool/nylon blend for durability and washing! I used 100% wool on a pair, and now they fit my grandson (he is 6)!
Your knitting is lovely. I am glad you can be present during this time with him. I used to work in hospice, and your being there is more of a gift to him than you can ever know.
I agree. No yo
Oh bummer. We all do it, but it's still curse worthy!
I like a closer fit. And, while I do like a round top down yoke, a raglan style fits me the best.
It is magic and we are needle witches!
I always notice what's on your coffee table signs. π
I finished the Sonrae sweater by Jenn Steingass, using Wool of the Andes sport wool in Sprinkle Heather and Baltic Heather. I had to extend the length as I am long in the torso. I also knit cuffs on the sleeves in place of the roll hem. It's washed, blocked and waiting to dry. #KnitSky
I knit Continental and cannot throw, so I quit trying! You can knit how you want to!
Very nice!
Yup. That has happened to me twice. I said a few choice words. Ugh
A good mystery show!
Hmm. They won't be a distinct contrast, but more subtle. They are contrasts on the color wheel, but similar in tone. I am working on this in a heather purple and teal, that has similar effect. Depends on what you are wanting!
That is wonderful!
I have used paperclips or scrap yarn as markers when in a pinch!
Snow baths. Hang or lay out in the cold air. I store mine folded in a plastic lidded bin during summer. After wearing, I will just lay it flat for a few days, then fold and put away. In my small mind, this gives it a chance to relax back before folding...Who knows if it's true? π€£
Hah!
Buy a new set and you will immediately find them.
I get it too. But it really makes me sad. Last summer I flew the Minnesota state flag instead. Be ause I live here, and, well, you know the rest. I just ordered a new one with the Resistance Loon on it.
Oh, lucky you!!
I have to do this all the time, as I am long in the torso! I compare to one that fits me too! A pattern is a how to and a guide, not the law!!! π
I just bought both those patterns! Thanks!!!
If you like it and you will wear it, keep it as is. If not, gift it or fix it.
Thanks!!
Me too!!
Oh gosh. It's so nice!!
Line it with fleece!
Colorwork is magic to me: switch some colored string back and forth, and paint a picture in fabric!!
