"Wearing our Pride" new display from the British Museum badge collection in the Money Gallery for LGBTQ+ history month, co-curated with community partners.
A Bronze Age gold-worker’s hoard discovered near Urchfont, Wiltshire (WILT-C97E23). Wiltshire Museum hopes to acquire the hoard. The finder stopped digging when he realised what he had found, allowing archaeologists to block life the hoard and bring it to the British Museum for micro-excavation.

Just completed my first install at the BM. A selection of coins from the Chew Valley hoard, telling the story of its cataloguing and acquisition, will be on display for six months from today in gallery 2.
