I'd say that happened on Green and Yellow which I loved whereas Purple and certainly Gold had very odd production
I loved Yellow and Green a lot and style wise it's pretty different. However Purple was a bit weird but Gold sounded very odd indeed production wise
Personally struggled a lot with the production on later Baroness albums
