This is the best way I've seen it done directly in Photoshop. Simple too! Doesn't involve typesetting and messing with vectors in InDesign/Illustrator

No right or wrong way to do this, this is just a quick/easy and endlessly editable method. Keeping your text and bubbles separate lets you edit and place them around your art easier and create better flow with hand-drawn tails and connections!

Does anyone know how to force Photoshop to stop resetting my shortcut preferences 😩
S for clone stamp and the smudge tool doesn't even have a hotkey by default. Billion dollar company.
I just know most people won't click and just scroll by, and think the smirk with bits peeking has a better chance of getting people to stop then another faceless torso on the timeline. Gotta fight for my place in the attention economy 🤺
