Impossible to pick MOTM today. Thought the two centre backs were great, Berge was exceptional in the middle with Sasa.

However, Robinson kept Saka quiet, AGAIN, and it didn’t stand out, because I just expected it?

He is the best full back in the league. Bar none.

The performance levels of our full-backs has actually been silly this season.

Both Robinson and Tete have been outstanding and I think there’s genuinely a shout that both of them have been the player of the season for their respective positions so far this year.

I think the number 9 in this team needs to hold the ball up well. A pure “get in behind” striker doesn’t suit the system.

That’s the annoyance with Gyokeres, because I think he can do both, and that’s what you want in an ideal world. You want someone who can do both, but value hold up play higher

There’s more nuance to it, but just on a basic level, this is what you want to see in test cricket. I think this is a really good thing

Easy to try and pick problems out of that game, but I genuinely think it was as simple as not enough of our players turned up. A collection of individually poor performances and ultimately just didn’t deserve anything anything from that game.
