2025 is surely set to be a true test of this squad’s mettle. Who knows where the next few months will take us. The first half of the new year could sound a renaissance era, a return to the continent but even if that isn’t so, we’ve got our Fulham and it is so, so back.

We have witnessed our club develop on and off the pitch and we aren’t finished yet. Marco has unified his camp, he’s got them purring as a proper top ten contender and our sights are set on European football. His vision is beautiful, and we’re blessed to have him as our own.

2024 has quite possibly been the most enjoyable year I’ve had following Fulham. Silva’s team have set up their stall in the PL and are a genuine joy to behold. We won at OT and the Bridge, we made a firm fist of things in the League Cup and we’re exceeding all expectations.

But, and it’s a huge one (giggidy), to come out of what was an immensely challenging December schedule without a loss, including draws against both north London sides and ‘pool and a W at the dog track, we can be stupidly pleased and for that, I’ll shut my gob. Well in, chaps!

Finding a last-minute winner on Boxing Day was nice and all that but conceding early on and indeed late into the second half is a medicine we’ve been force fed this season, and I am so done with it. Holding onto leads at home is an impossible challenge. Huge defect of ours. #ffc

Not being at football today is a weird, weird feeling but this Christmas period cannot be topped, so I’m leaving it here until the New Year. Recovering. Go and get that dub and send 2024 off in the right way, Fulham. 2025 could be bigger and better than we’d ever imagined. #ffc

There’s definitely legs to this theory. Evidently they’ve downed tools and it’s been a sudden drop off. With so much obscurity surrounding the club’s future, as well as their professional/financial status, the camp’s obviously on some sort of mutiny. Still, can’t say I’m sorry for them.

The very fact Fulham have only lost 4 Premier League games at this point of the season is hugely impressive when you consider Man City have now lost 5. Guardiola’s side is a shadow of its former self, whereas Silva definitely has the backing of his dressing room. Be humble, eh. #ffc

Salah got MotM when Robinson got two assists and had the entire length of his flank on fucking lock. Can’t even get the little victories against these tossers. Work-rate was phenomenal from Jedi, he genuinely is the best left-back in the game, and definitely in Merseyside. #ffc

Having said that, once I’ve had a shit and a glass of water, I’ll accept that this is still a very good point. Bigger picture kinda stuff. We made a dog’s dinner of most of our counters but a 10-man Liverpool is still stronger than most 11s in this league. Factos. Simple as. #ffc

Something is seriously, seriously wrong with us in the first 5 minutes and the last 5 minutes of second halves. It’s a trend that needs bucking. We gift wrap teams silly goals when we should be bang on it, concentration at its peak but we are constantly punished. Fuck off. #ffc

He may have got spun like your nan’s Saturday night thong on a quick cycle for Liverpool’s equaliser but other than that, Jorge Cuenca’s PL debut was actually decent. A real acid test for the Spaniard, and for the most part, he cooperated with Diop soundly. He will learn. #ffc
