The piss tank on the ISS is now 69% full.

Few people will care about this at all, but I’ve noticed a serious uptick in violent rhetoric and hostility here comparable to the site I refer to as Norwegian Blue.

As such, I will only be used by this account to talk to friends in DMs or to let them know we can continue by DM.

In summary: Someone excitedly talking a bunch of trying to get a word in doesn’t mean they’re being intentionally rude if they genuinely don’t know.

Calling for an apology or a retraction? Ok. But the majority of these replies haven’t been "polite".

And for the people who are saying they hate the material and are all but certain to dogpile this for being remotely positive: that’s totally valid. That’s fine.

Threatening the creator's life or telling him to commit self harm in real life is not.

even so. The point is that the response is not okay. Bottom line. Poorly thought out or even deliberately horrible writing decisions (again I’m not pointing to anyone) is NO excuse.

When people are saying they hate it AND saying "well yeah death threats aren’t okay BUT", which do you think is the part they ACTUALLY care about?

I’ll admit I’m biased. I haven’t read it (I don’t read many comics, and don’t tend to touch X books usually) and have friendly interactions w/him. But

People are saying "Yeah there’s death threats and those aren’t okay but you are wrong."

Nobody is saying what was written is okay. I haven’t seen any defense of the work itself. They’re saying the response isn’t okay.

I saw someone saying "comic writers aren’t real people" as their excuse.

I don’t drink, so this is concerning.

Neither am I, but I’m not going to blame someone for not realizing their mistakes over a decade before they were known to the public.

It costs nothing to not engage. If you didn’t care, you wouldn’t have written anything. Unless you’re saying you don’t care about truth or accuracy in blame.

I just generally feel Marvel works best when it’s dealing with down-to-earth issues. I’ve heard it said that the core difference between DC and Marvel is that DC heroes you look up to, Marvel heroes you relate to.

However, I hate putting ideas writers wouldn’t conceive of in their characters' mouths.

Also, calling Peter literally that guy, who I KNOW who he is, is quite a stretch. A certain Mike G would have something to say about that.

I Am Alive is a really cool game. It’s hard, but it feels more like a The Walking Dead story than The Walking Dead does.
