Not for nothing it’s something I’ve wondered about before this and if these end up being tied somehow it’s hard to not make that leap- especially if you work for a college/university.
It sounds like today wasn’t better either. I hope things turn around soon. ❤️
You good? ❤️
But hey. They understand this is not the outcome you were hoping for. Such warm. Much fuzzies. Very help. What a nightmare of ineptitude. I’m so sorry.
On Brentwood. It’s veterinary emergency group (VEG). Just a little further south of the area with the bread co, container store, and Rei, etc.
We’ve always been treated very well at VEG. Pricey but definitely recommend for kind and knowledgeable staff and vets. Plus snacks and drinks don’t hurt.
I have to be careful how I put the hair bonnet on or I’ll end up with wonky hairline too in the morning. I am dying at the🎢 😂
I tested at perimenopause and in some cases menopause levels at 38 after putting up with symptoms for well over a year before I asked and she agreed we should do testing. You’re not too young and that response from a doctor is 💩.
If you’re really lucky it’s when you’re sitting naked in a paper “gown” and nobody bothers to tell you it’s going to be that long.
If it makes you feel any better I am also a selfish millennial because I “only” had 1 child. We cannot win.
Oh, I’m so sorry. I know you probably need a little time for processing but if I can help at all when you’re ready for looking let me know. ❤️
I very much agree. And it often stretches months. We lose out on hiring so many good people for all of these reasons. I will never understand.
It’s so bad in nonprofits. I interviewed with 9 people for a job titled department secretary when I was fresh with my MA. I have advanced since and never interviewed with less than 6 people (usually more) over 3 rounds (usually more) for any position I’ve had here. SOP in many nonprofit. Just 🍌.
It’s extremely tiring to live in this state with absolute idiots elected to our legislature.
Will purchase if you make.
I think we’re all conditioned to think tornadoes look like in twister but wedge/ rain wrapped can look like clouds but still be a tornado. Frightening.
Me either! I worry about enough stuff, I don’t need to add true crime anxiety to my regular anxiety.
My dad had to go in person to STL city hall to get a verified copy of their marriage certificate in addition to her birth certificate because she changed her name. She has a passport they did not care. I don’t honestly know what the rules actually say because the point seems to be “make it hard.”
Oh that’s right. My mistake and also just the man of the house too.
And how many don’t even own a house to remodel?
SEA YA NEXT TIME 👋
#STLvSEA x #AllForCITY
I went to college in Indiana. Always a highlight of the trip passing that. 🥴
I mean I don’t but I have a kid so getting out of the house is also nice. But generally speaking if it were just me I’d be at home being unfriendly and unliked.
StL folks- My husband drove from U City to 2nd street near the brewery. Said roads were not great- about 430 this morning. Took the highway and said it was just as bad. I think if you can work from home today that’s the way to go. If you’re out- take it slow and give people room. 🤷🏻♀️ #stlwx
So I’ll just tell my child’s school and my employer that we’re not coming because modot said so? Neat.
Say what you want about the VA (and most criticism has been wrongly aimed at VA instead of Congress) …
But no one has ever said the problem with the VA is too many people work there.
This is inexcusable. news.va.gov/press-room/v...
A little treat, just for parents.
STL- looking for connections to short term rental or lease from mid March-end of Mayish- preferably furnished and within reasonable drive of washu. We have friends moving here but coming in shifts and one of them needs housing until everyone else can join and then can look for a house. Any ideas?
