I think anime has succeeded with me when it's full of character studies. Even flcl is largely a character study. Naota and Mamimi are pretty interesting characters.

Yeah I vastly prefer 2003 for it's more character oriented drama. It's just more fulfilling to me even with a handful of terribly written episodes. The work as a whole is very notable. I find brotherhood boring. I don't care about the characters the same way.

The last anime I vividly remember enjoying was Land of the Lustrous.

Ultimately, there is no element of a creative field that benefits from Ai usage.

As a writer, Gemini or Deepseek does not provide quality research for fiction writing. I strongly strongly strongly recommend doing research from books at the library or browsing duck duck go manually. Ai will literally take what some rando says on Reddit as a joke and pass it off as legit.

3/5! I think by the time the final Basil volume releases I think people will see this as potentially my greatest work collectively. The final volume is something truly special. But Ahmsara definitely is going to rival it haha. And I do think it'll probably bring in new fans to Basil too!

Finally writing Sev, the elephant, into the visual novel. As soon as he enters the VN becomes 1000% more homosexual haha. It goes from plausibly deniable to full blown half-lidded eyes for a fat elephant man. All the straights are launched out of a canon.
