I don't even go here (sports) but I caught the halftime show and gdi it was so joyous and powerful. This is exactly what the country needed to see and hear right now. The fact that this exact shot was seen by more American eyeballs than anything else this year? I have so much hope.

Children are not “bait” and that little boy had family that were there to care for him. Rene Nichole Good and Alex Pretti didn’t do anything outside of their rights as citizens and didn’t deserve to be murdered in the street. People are being taken off the street and disappeared.

I don’t have anything to say about what’s happening in America that someone else hasn’t said in a more profound and articulate way but I don’t think any of us have the luxury to be silent given what is happening in our country.

So to be clear, fuck ICE, fuck MAGA, and fuck Trump’s fascist regime.
