EVS 2026 is underway 🌍🚀

The 6th wave of the EVS combines its historic values ​​time series with a new framework on European Values, addressing democracy, rule of law, sustainability, and Europe in a changing world.

Fieldwork started in Dec 2025 and continues across Europe in 2026.

Measuring attitudes towards voluntary childlessness: Indicators in European comparative surveys The prevalence of voluntary childlessness is rising in Europe, likely accompanied by growing social acceptance.

An article that focused on #attitudes towards voluntary #childlessness was recently published by @plosone.org.

The study examined our #survey #data measuring attitudes towards those who choose not to have children, and considered @evs-values.bsky.social and Gender Inequality Index data.

A call for chapters has been published for a new book: Navigating Values Under Pressure.

The book follows a conference held on the topic organised by the ESS, @evs-values.bsky.social and World Values Survey.
