I was asked to speak about the role of public opinion in EU enlargement policies and European integration. The link between academic work, politics and diplomacy is something that I find absolutely important and enriching for all the different actors - and something that is needed, particularly now.

This week I delivered a lecture for the European Academy of Diplomacy and the EU Diplomatic Programme for the Enlargement Region, supported by the European Commission @ec.europa.eu, in the beautiful buildings of the @collegeofeurope.bsky.social in Bruges.
