Apple Designed Interactive Logo for September 9 Event Apple created a unique interactive Apple logo for its September 9 event, which can be interacted with on the main Apple.com website. The website currently features an animated Apple logo front and center, which changes when touched. On an iPhone or an iPad, holding a finger over the Apple logo shifts it to a darker orange the longer you hold, and when swiping, the colors will change and follow your finger. On the Mac, you can use a mouse or a trackpad for the same effect. The Apple logo for the "Awe Dropping" event is designed to look like a thermal map or the output that you might see on a thermal camera. The colors change from shades of blue to shades of orange, perhaps a nod to the new ‌iPhone‌ colors that are expected. Saw Aliens in 70mm and it was pretty amazing how seamless all of the work was. Miniatures, practical, stop motion, optical fx and everything just blended so beautifully.Was a blowup but still impressive.

I was getting breakfast a few weeks ago and this lady asked if I could clean her table. Couldn’t figure out if it was skin color or sheer confusion.

Yeah for sure, I thinks it’s often being able to have a creative toolbox to pull from to best execute on ideas. Test, experiments, sketches can’t sometimes help you problem solve quickly.

There are always a million variables and no two projects are the same. I think we all strive for our best work but always a balance in a service facing industry.

Working on projects I feel like you never actually get to do the fine tuning you’d love to because of budget / schedule.

Real world vs Idealized world.

Everything has to align otherwise it’s make the best of what you can.

Seeing light at the end of the tunnel on another fun sequence. 🔪 Learned a lot on this one!
