One thing it DID affect though is playing musical instruments. For example, I'm pretty much entirely incapable of playing chords on guitar cause I can't apply enough pressure without my fingers bending and muting other strings

One big drawback of being hypermobile, especially in my fingers, is that I can't reliably use my own hands as reference a lot of the time
