That said, is anyone building a game dev starter pack that will obviate this account?
Anyway, as mentioned previously, if you think you should be on this list but aren't, send up a signal flare, and I'll try to check on this account every day or two, at least until things settle down again.
If you have a good game dev list, share it and I'll pass it on as well.
But since my list doesn't actually curate what you can see or not see and instead just offers a list of potential people to follow or not follow, I'm not sure that does a whole hell of a lot.
"What do I have to do to get followed?"
In general, just say 'I belong on this list'. In general, I'll give you a follow without question. That said, if I get complaints about someone I'll remove them, assuming their behavior is obviously egregious (crypto spam, being crazy sexist, etc).
"Will you keep it up to date?"
Well, I've been sloppy about it lately. Also, I was assuming/hoping that someone would do something better with the 'Lists' feature that has since been added. If you have a good list, let me know and I'll share it.
"What's this account about?"
This account is solely a place where self-proclaimed game devs can find each other.
"How do I use it?"
Look at my 'Following' and perhaps 'Followers' list to see if there's anyone worth following. That's it. That's the whole account.
I went through and quickly followed everyone who requested that I saw in my replies going back about 6 months. I think I got everyone but the process is... imprecise at best.

Greetings and salutations! It's been a while since we had people signing up in big numbers on Blue Sky so I stopped checking this account. My mistake - we had a HUGE number of new users in the last week, probably due to Elmo being Elmo again on the hellsite.
I believe that all pending join requests have been fulfilled.
If you have not been added and think you should be, ponder upon what you have done and whether or not you have been appropriately reverent to my awesome status and power.
Or just shoot me an '@', I probably just missed it.

Wow, what a busy day! I'll probably be offline and might not add anyone else until the morning. That said, I think I'm all caught up.
