At a petrol station one Christmas & a festive tune was playing. I walked a little more dancily up to the till & the cashier started a full on boogie. We danced & completed the transaction without words. As I danced out the door, a man came in & understood. They were still dancing as I drove away.

I’m very sensitive to stuff like this myself, and I’d suggest you get one of the small ones from IKEA first, they are great value, but it will also let you see if it affects your breathing before you buy anything else

My setup was entirely Zigbee before these, so I did need a couple of that new Kajplats bulbs to act as repeaters. Working nicely together now though!

I think they’re great! Really small, quick to set up. It’s been really helpful seeing where the biggest variation has been for me in an older property.

Just so non-Welsh speakers can appreciate how shit this is - Pry Cop means “Spider”. “Pry” on its own does not mean hello, it basically means fly/bug. Cop / Cob was an old English word for spider too (hence “cobweb”), derived from a Germanic word meaning “round thing”.

Google AI result explaining that the Welsh phrase “pry cop” means “Hello Policeman” which is absolute bollocks. It means spider. I was googling it because I was fascinated to realise that the word “cob” in the English word “cobweb” was a Germanic word for a round thing, so a “cob” was another word for a spider, and I realised that the Welsh word for spider was likely derived from the same root. But to summarise - AI is fucking useless.
