In response, the administration in news story after news story points out the detainees’ criminal records and repeatedly claims that, in detention, they often receive “the best healthcare” they’ve had in their lives.
I’ve been investigating for the last several months. The results are shocking.
A 41st person has died in ICE custody under Trump. A record number of deaths all across the country, a record high number of suicides — horrific and painful medical emergencies, delayed response to ailments, infections, sepsis, etc.
All as the administration continues to lock up more than ever.

By framing the person as a criminal, the Trump administration attempts to diminish their death — and life. By obscuring the fact that detainees — 40 of them, now — have died after being detained in ICE facilities, they attempt to distance themselves from responsibility.
Ignore, for a moment, that each of these begins by noting the detainee's criminal record before noting their death, and think of the misleading nature of the headline: "dies at hospital."
This man died at a hospital after being taken there during a medical emergency from an *ICE facility.*
The reason the Trump administration has done things like kick reputable outlets out of Pentagon briefings is because the broader American right simply does not accept any framing of facts and narratives that they do not like.

The same people who love creating AI versions of themselves and other strange stuff like this say voting machines are rife with fraud.
Demas’ death comes within a week of the death of Alberto Gutierrez in Adelanto, 48, who had been complaining of medical issues for weeks before he died.
His son has said his father’s face was yellow.
A 10th person has died in custody of ICE. Emmanuel Demas, 56, died of complications from a tooth infection at Florence, AZ, per a source.
He is the 10th death this year and 40th since Trump took office — the highest number since ICE was created in 2003.

trump is calling for banning congressional stock trading, but he leaves out the key detail: the reason there's a standstill right now is democrats want it to apply to trump and the white house, but trump issued a veto threat over that.
President Trump just said, “We lifted 2.4 million Americans off of food stamps.”

On Thanksgiving, the immigrant children held at the Dilley detention center gathered in the gym for what they thought was a holiday feast.
The kids salivated over a spread of turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, a family told me.
But the food wasn’t for detainees — it was for the staff.

These forces are working to implement hand-counted ballots on a mass scale in GA. If you thought there were errors in 2020, when machines counted six million votes, wait’ll you see what happens in November when those votes are counted by hand.
