Simply stunning: Bondi cannot say offhand how many undocumented immigrants — not even a rough number! — are in the nation’s third largest city. This is the purported REASON for increased ICE operations and subsequent Guard deployment there.

Instead, Bondi mentions attacks on officers.

3. Further clashes
4. Insurrection Act
5. Mass judicial nominees
6. Reduce voting access
7. Refuse to seat Dems in close House races
8. Pass third term legislation/install Medvedev-style puppet

Few days ago the Strib reported that a deputy of one of the highest-ranking officials in the government was openly discussing sending the 82ND AIRBORNE into U.S. cities and the story died on the table.

This is a good theory and one that has been floating around in my family. I support it.

Part of Leavitt’s justification for the Guard in Portland: people are “disrespecting” ICE and engaged in “civil disobedience.”

Section 12406 allows deployment only in the event of foreign invasion, a rebellion, or inability to enforce federal laws.

Not disrespect and disobedience.

Becoming clear — not just in Chicago but many places — that these agents are ignoring training or don’t have it, for crowd control, arrests, or anything else.

There are some very real questions about who these agents are and what training they’ve received. Experienced cops don’t act like this.

Chaos in Brighton Park. This is representative of the amount / direction of pepper and smoke sent into the neighborhood, in this case, for no reason I can discern other than because they were leaving. Feds had a clear path out in a different direction, and residents were vocal but not violent here.

Genuinely incredible how unprofessional these guys are. One dude yelling in your face and you immediately assault them on camera?

Empowered, emboldened, lawless, unaccountable. This must stop.

Deniers want to go to all hand-counted paper ballots, which Trump has called for in an executive order. That order isn’t law, of course. But it’s having its intended effect here, where Republican lawmakers now say they must comply with it.

This is similar to what the Republican-led legislature has done with Georgia’s elections systems/voting machines, which will become legally invalidated next July. No one has proposed a replacement system.
