I've nearly cried like three times today just watching clips from different films in my office. Not sure if that's more or less helpful when I'm trying to write about them.

sometimes you roll the dice and accidentally watched the terrible and degraded looking version of a film and only find the nicer looking, restored version (also on Tubi) after the fact.

(actually setting myself a reminder in my phone to cancel my subscription if I don't use it though).

A streaming service I subscribed to automatically renewed today (it was annually billed and I didn't get a notification that it was renewing soon) so I was re-browsing the offerings and got excited and added a few things to my list. Excited to forget I'm subscribed and get surprised again next year.

Got weirdly emotional listening to the Capitol Orchestra today when it hit me that it was the exactly the kind of thing my Opa would have loved. What a delight (bring back pre-film orchestras).

Twins of Evil, except last night I got distracted watching Taskmaster, so I didn't watch it yet 😂

The friends I'm currently cat-sitting for have a great DVD/blu-ray collection and I have found a Hammer horror starring Peter Cushing that I haven't seen yet. Tonight's viewing sorted.

*Opens inbox twenty minutes later to an absolute onslaught*

I hope the sad ginger cat is adopted and finds his forever home, but you best believe I am coming back for him.

It's taking me a lot of self-control to not apply to adopt all the cats right now while I'm still a month away from moving.

I dropped to the Netflix tier with ads because I still use it, but not enough to justify twenty dollarbucks a month. Yesterday I go to cast a comfort show in the background while I fold laundry (no, I don't have a smart TV) and turns out, that's not enabled for the cheapest plan! Cheeky!
