Itโs coming to Shudder in December!
23.11.2025 18:10 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I watched a press screener, but itโs coming to Shudder in December!
22.11.2025 18:57 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Reflection in a Dead Diamond (2025)
This is INCREDIBLE
Itโs like Danger: Diabolik refracted through a diamond and madness
I absolutely LOVED the new Deathstalker! If you dig practical effects and โ80s fantasy films itโs a must-see.
12.11.2025 23:25 โ ๐ 8 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Frankenstein (2025)
I thought this was fantastic! Very touching (and gory).
The sets and costumes were amazing! Loved Jacob Elordiโs performance; poignant and haunting.
Ernest Scared Stupid (1991)
Fun fact: Ernest is canonically impervious to damage, so essentially he is an elder god of some sort
I just found out Peter Watkins passed away, noooo! He was an absolutely fantastic director who wasnโt afraid to tackle controversial issues and criticize authoritarianism.
I wrote a piece on some of his works years ago, itโs well worth taking a trip through his filmography, itโs illuminating.
Hahahaha! (Correct)
29.10.2025 15:23 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I had the same reaction, Lanthimos getting soft in his later years, haha.
29.10.2025 14:55 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Bugonia (2025)
Lanthimos actually toned down the torture scenes from the original film, Save the Green Planet, so itโs easier to digest in that respect. It doesnโt do the tone changing as much either.
Itโs fantastic and it captures the vibe while doing its own thing too.
Since Bugonia is coming out soon, I thought I would write a piece about Save the Green Planet which isnโt talked about enough. Itโs a fantastic (and fucked up) flick!
23.10.2025 17:08 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0A phenomenon I find amusing is that people will straight up block you or get mad if you ask them if they used ChatGPT to write something (and itโs always very obvious that they did). Why not just admit it?
23.10.2025 13:34 โ ๐ 6 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0This movie is so beautiful.

14.10.2025 02:51 โ ๐ 7267 ๐ 1819 ๐ฌ 57 ๐ 72I received my contributor copy of Alone from Error_4444! Itโs an incredibly haunting film that I loved writing about. My essay is about depictions of Siamese twins in media and how it influenced Alone.
18.10.2025 01:58 โ ๐ 6 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Thanks for inviting me to write for this release!
18.10.2025 01:55 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I have an essay on this beautiful looking set! Extremely stoked to be in such good company!
18.10.2025 01:55 โ ๐ 5 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Diane Keaton at The Schwabโs Pharmacy counter in 1983.
Farewell to one cinema's greatest legends Canโt believe weโve lost her. Such a shock. Rest in peace Diane Keaton. โLa-dee-da, la-dee-daโ forever.
Kamille, looking over at Katz, who is failing to outrun a massive fireball: "He's okay."
He's okay.
23.08.2025 23:58 โ ๐ 229 ๐ 89 ๐ฌ 5 ๐ 3Absolutely fantastic film.
09.10.2025 15:20 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0You know a movie is amazing when even the contrarians are like โItโs good but not *that* goodโ to save face.

25.09.2025 13:51 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0My review for One Battle After Another, an absolutely OUTSTANDING film from PTA. Well worth seeing in IMAX if itโs playing near you.
25.09.2025 12:58 โ ๐ 5 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0One Battle After Another (2025)
Hilarious, touching, and subversive. The pacing is immaculate, it doesnโt feel like an almost three hour film. Go see this at the theater!
lately when iโm feeling hopeless i just think of the Katamari cat wearing scuba gear. if she can survive in an inhospitable environment then so can i
09.09.2025 20:01 โ ๐ 8776 ๐ 3095 ๐ฌ 8 ๐ 36I have a video essay in this release! Itโs a jam-packed set.
09.09.2025 20:25 โ ๐ 11 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I also really like Johnโs monologue about that very thing; how they are trying to hold on to the old records and way of life when itโs obviously collapsed, instead of moving on.
