A reminder that fiction — books, film, games, what have you — is always political. The willful absence of “politics” in any work is itself a political choice and a political act. Who gets to tell (and sell) stories is political. It might be an undercurrent — covert, not overt. But it’s there.

Common terms include 50 Protests in 50 States and 50501 All have been posted by new accounts, or accounts that have never/minimally been active There are never any details issued other than a brief “meet at the Capital, meet at city hall” or information stated in text that differs from the graphic Follow up questions are unanswered, aside from brief cryptic comments like “you will find out what we’re planning when you get there” Motions of the event on other social media are overwhelmingly similarly faceless in nature This is extremely fishy and we ask you to please treat it with extreme caution
