In recent years Bunny Man Bridge has become a popular spot for thrill seekers and the curious alike, especially around Halloween, despite local police turning away non-locals.
Keep it Creepy!

It is at this bridge, in one tale, where the Bunny Man is said to have hung the mutilated remains of some children who were hanging out nearby. In another tale, the Bunny Man is the ghost of a man wearing rabbit pelts killed by police trying to apprehend him, and now his spirit haunt the bridge.

In the decades following it has evolved into an urban legend and even spread into the surrounding state of Maryland. As the legend grew it evolved to include Colchester Overpass, a Southern Railway overpass spanning Colchester Road near Clifton, Virginia, sometimes referred to as "Bunny Man Bridge".

55 years ago today the tale of the Bunny Man was born.
