So WHY!? Why use this tool? It's like the old adage about a man with a hammer.

I don't want a cold hot chocolate, most ingredients like sugar and cocoa blend readily at slightly under boiling milk and cream, I wouldn't want to dilute that with water, and the hot chocolate already had a lot of air from the sub boiling temp and the whisking.

I would use a Martini Shaker for 4 main reasons: It cools a drink, it dilutes the drink, it stirs air into the drink affecting flavor, and it thoroughly mixes ingredients that have a hard time mixing at low temps. Which is why it makes zero fucking sense to use it for a Hot Drink like Hot Chocolate.
