Violently assualted for doing nothing more than obeying the legal speed limit.
Yes, the attacker should be in jail. Driving and employing others shouldn't be a freedom ticket.
Also needs licence removing for good. He's clearly psychologically not to be trusted.

Yet, phone-using drivers aren't getting contacted for > 3 months after they've been reported! Improving weather = more cyclists = more reports, so I hope that more resourcing will be provided!
Beautiful!
Squirrels. Welcome to the war on cars.
Lib Dem Leader Ed Davey:
"Tax exiles like Isabel Oakeshott and washed up old footballers who mock ordinary people who stay in the UK and pay our taxes... As we protect them, it's only right for tax exiles to start paying taxes to fund our armed forces, just like the rest of us".
Stationary phone distraction isn’t harmless — the evidence is clear. It impairs hazard detection and reaction time, with effects lasting well beyond the interaction. This is road danger and it can (and does) have fatal consequences. Academic research strongly backs it (see pic). Enforcement matters.
Barking!
Loved it. Highly recommended!

100% agreed!
Anything with a 14-day statutory time limit is processed on time. The problem is lack of staffing, so the stuff with longer time limits gets left. Their system deletes unprocessed footage after 3 months.
Avon & Somerset take 3 months to process these reports and then only issue a warning letter (because it's too embarrassing to prosecute after such a long delay)!
Manchester United defender Leny Yoro says there was “little prospect of contact with vulnerable road users” after speeding at 72mph in 30mph zone near school and homes lands him driving ban… and then posts photo of himself seemingly texting at the wheel

Shameful
Caught doing 72mph in a 30 limit.
Just 6 months ban and a £666 fine.
Imagine if he'd actually hit someone?
When will we take road danger seriously/

My local police force's stats have been well-analysed by road.cc here.
It is. Why not take a look?
Good. Well done
Come for the way the driver distractedly rolls forward in his huge car but stay for the dismissive way I send him on his way
Drive like this in London then you can fully expect to be caught. Then you will receive 6 points and a fine & your insurance (especially for a car like that) will be massive.
A scary amount of motorists see no problem illegally using their mobile behind the wheel when stationary in traffic. The delayed cognitive distraction lingers and can lead to a motorist filtering out secondary information (pedestrians, cyclists, etc.) when they get back on the move.
I've complained to the council on this basis as well as the potholes thing. Fingers crossed but builders usually just hire a sweeper truck to scrape the road surface away and spread the mud everywhere, in my experience.
Yes. I don't like being half-wheeled here!
Yeah, reported but I doubt that anything will be done for a while.
Seriously unhappy with the crappy state of this road. It's pretty hard to avoid for my commuting. Why can solar farm installers turn it into such a mudbath? My poor bike!! (Video 2x speed)
Plus this little gang..
Spoonbills! At the Keyhaven & Pennington reserve in SW Hampshire on Saturday.
