Andrew, respectfully, in any other industry, a governing body wouldn't dictate a company's pay structure. But Premier League does. So, PSR is not an excuse, it's a reality that is preventing a very wealthy ownership group from paying a huge talent his worth. It's not that difficult to understand.

FFP's not even on the radar for us here. We've got no executive structure to make smart investments with the huge windfall we'd gain, so selling is not the issue. Like I said from the start, we don't need to offload him. For what it's with, he'll probably still sign, just maybe not this window.
