Twitter was great for horror media and gay porn, but terrible if you have a low tolerance for racist Nazi misogynists. I hope this place can be just as vibrant, but without the fascism. No Musk; No Trump.

The drum rat-a-tats are restored to the underscore for Riff's "And also presumptuous of you” speech. There is exit music, which matches the last surround mix they did. My understanding is they got it wrong last time, so it’s still wrong. The only prints I've seen ended with Time Warp picture credits

Frank still sings the final "Transylvania" in the last chorus of "Sweet Transvestite, just like in every single multi-channel remix they've done--despite being sung only by the servants in the original mono mix.

They fixed the blu-ray error in Janet's verse of "Over at the Frankenstein Place"--they've restored her proper take, which sounds much better.

The new surround mix still buries Ralph's incidental dialogue during the wedding scene so it's hard to make out his lines that could very easily be heard back in the prints I saw in the early '80s ("Come on Mom, get up here." "Hey, terrific." "Hi, Brad." "Great pictures. Bye-bye. See ya.").

Overall, the image looked a smidge too dark to me (a bit hard to read "Acme Sound" in the speaker during Frank's delivery of his creation speech, which I remember always being very clearly discernible. Also, the lips at the beginning struck me as darker and redder than I remember).

I don't know if the colors match the original release prints because it's been so long since I've seen one, but they looked good to me.

I saw the DCP of RHPS last week. The blue tint to Brad's bedroom is back, as is the red tint for Janet's "What's happening here? Where's Brad? Where's anybody?" as well as the shot when she gets on the elevator. The flashbacks during the Time Warp Reprise have their blue hue restored.

Yes, he's fractally repugnant--repulsive at any conceivable scale of resolution. Nothing about him is even remotely appealing.

I not only remember the show, but I still have a VHS tape of episodes I recored off-the-air when the show was originally on television--and I still watch that tape from time to time.

'Tis the season! I watch this one every year for Thanksgiving. I love Louise Lasser in this so much.

This has been on my "to read" list since I bought the ebook version I can't remember how long ago. Maybe this holiday season is the time.

To be honest, I nearly skipped this episode. Sure, I grew up going to the movies and seeing Corey, but he was never the reason I went to the movies. However, I listened and immediately had to see The Birthday. Loved it--watched it three times in two days last week. I hope it finds its audience.

Pokemon and penis are two of my favorite things (not necessarily in that order). Good to know I'm not alone.

As a Gen X white guy (born in '67), I deeply apologize for the twits in my generation. Having been the queer kid that was bullied in school starting in kindergarten, I'm very sad but not at all surprised.

I've requested several books through Libby that my library didn't have. I guess I have a really great library system because they have always purchased the book I requested within a matter of days. I've never been denied a request. Libby is great for both audiobooks and ebooks!

The book upon which the documentary is based is a must too--both are essential as far as I'm concerned. Great recommendation.
