HOW IT WORKS IN MOVIES:
1. Government lies
2. Brave heroes release video showing the truth
3. Press says “the government is lying!”
HOW IT APPARENTLY WORKS IN REAL LIFE
1. Brave heroes release video showing the truth
2. Government lies
3. Press says “Oh no, what now? So confusing! So hard!”
#TikTok has begun censoring anti-Trump and anti-Ice content
This is one of the biggest stories in America, comparable in scale to what’s happening in Minnesota. The largest social media platform is transferred to Trump’s allies and immediately forbids you from saying anything bad about him. Absolutely totalitarian in nature. No different than China.
Just wow, Minneapolis.
It's STFU Friday.

GO BIRDS FUCK ICE 🦅
THEY TRIED TO GET A WARRANT TO CRIMINALLY INVESTIGATE THE WOMAN THEY SHOT DEAD
A coworker took this from her apartment. I haven't seen a crowd this size before. Maybe the first Women's March? But it was much much warmer that day. ICE OUT OF MINNESOTA!
it set in for me how big this was when i saw a real estate content creator in minneapolis make a video about how he was detained and targeted by ICE for following them to protest. this is hitting everyone in their community
Gotta remind yourself not to cry when you see the kid's signs.
It's negative -25°F and tears are dangerous.
"LEAVE MY FRIENDS ALONE!"
"ICE GIT OUT YA FUCKIN DUMBIES 😡"
Today's newsletter has now raised more than $6,000 for organizations working to help Minnesota communities affected by ICE and CBP. Sign up for Public Notice using the buttons in today's edition 👇 if you'd like to support good causes in solidarity with the general strike.
NEW: Chicago's six Broadview conspiracy defendants, including Kat Abughazaleh, seek details about their indictment through a bill of particulars.
Their 16-page motion raises questions about the case and alleges their politics and criticism of Trump "are the only ties that bind them."
We've made this Sinister Minnesotans shirt from our Stan Kelly comic this week.
Net proceeds from this shirt will be donated to local organizations doing their part to keep Minnesotans safe and send ICE agents home to ruin their own fucking communities.
Fuck ICE and stay strong, Minneapolis.
Can you share which local orgs? I’ve already ordered one and can’t wait to wear it here in Saint Paul.

After this is all over and the Newsoms of the world try to sweep punishment for these demons under the rug in the name of nAtiOnAl hEaLiNg, there will never, ever come a point at which I resignedly accept that we have to settle for anything less than a merciless and brutal scouring of this country
Minneapolis civilians have expropriated challenge coins from the federal vehicles as well as all of the live intel on the operations. Everything maps, hotels everything. My god.
Whatever your politics are, please understand:
If things continue in this direction, there is going to come a time when you have to take a side between fascism and revolutionary change. There will be no third option.
Standing aside, waiting, doing nothing—all of those will mean choosing fascism.
I just want it to be really clear, to people from out of the area, if they see pictures of fires in Minneapolis: THEY WERE STARTED BY ICE. NOT BY PROTESTERS. NOT BY RESIDENTS.
This dude, indeed, rules. I guess he’s an influencer of some kind, but I feel like so many people are, more or less. out there yelling “shoot me, bitch.” Every single threat and warning from an ICE agent is just met with greater disdain and more people in the street telling them to fuck off.
i feel for the people of north minneapolis if they’re about to become a protest hot spot from outside the neighborhoods. this is an area often neglected and ignored by even its own elected officials. people not from over north should really be judicious in how they act coming over there
For people outside Minneapolis: North is the historically Black part of the city. It's been heavily disinvested from, gutted by the 2008 mortgage crisis, and got hit by a tornado which did damage you can still see from aerial photos. It's no mistake ICE is going after more vulnerable populations.
This is a residential neighborhood.
Minneapolis tonight.
Already heard from folks nearby that, even with windows and doors closed, tear gas is getting into nearby homes.
Our fed govt is making our city less safe.
the people of MN have been murdered, brutalized and kidnapped for weeks now and have remained *amazingly* peaceful in the face of it. lecturing citizens to not “take the bait” etc is pretty disrespectful after a point and avoids the real question: how long are they supposed to take this, undefended?
On the ground here in Minnesota, it’s hard to reconcile the immense bonds of community that have been built in a week with the fact that we live in a country whose government appropriated billions of dollars to an unaccountable paramilitary force whose sole purpose is ethnic cleansing.
