The last thing Viktor sees is the slow spreading reverse corruption oozing from the anomaly Jayce is cradling. Before a flurry of starlight embraces him.
As he pulls away the blanket again there lays Jayce cradling the anomaly from his hammer. Body still forming together like stardust.
Mage Vik is crumbling to the floor sniffling away the first tears only to be utterly overwhelmed by rediscovered emotions. Too scared to touch >his< Jayce.
The Jayce is strange, his Viktor stands in the portal behind Jayce, he looks happy.
Husk crumbles as Jayce drapes a blue blanket over the remains.
"I've always had a thing for magic." The smile is bashful.
I had this vivid dream for a Jayvik comic.
It hooks into the "You're not my Jayce" Mage Vik trope.
Where a Jayce returns to him. "You're not my Viktor."
And he returns the hammer to the Jayce husk.
"But I will return the dream to you and end your solitude."
