getting shot in the head with a sniper and my body launches into a perfect backflip and lands upright leaning against the wall in a cunty position. The soldier who shot me has nightmares about it every day until killing his wife and then himself on March 28, 2043

it's been so long since I've played a game that's this full of stuff. it feels like the developers were having so much fun making things that they couldn't help themselves

look, we know you speak our language better than us but you don't have to rub it in

yes to both. it's not that easy to do without losing some purples to the fire

most recently, removing the ability to kill fiery bulblaxes with purples

cons:
- reds still aren't required (there are several other ways to kill them)
- you have to re-enter caves if you don't bring reds and don't know more obscure mechanics
- reds still suck

pros:
- a bug is patched?? I guess??

The real-world phone in the sun at 45 degrees. We see the same pattern of a 180 arc, two outward diagonal lines, and then 90 degree arcs back in towards the phone shadow corners.

This made my week. I don't know I will ever be able to make a prediction this wild and ace it again. @mayabyte.bsky.social followed up with empirical evidence.

Based on some experimentation today, you're correct! This was very counterintuitive to me but blocking the light with my finger was a good way to develop a feeling for how it works.

an iphone mounted in landscape orientation above a monitor and a wall about 30cm behind it. the wall displays a halo produced by the sun reflecting off the edges of the phone, but the halo's shape is far more rounded and pill-shaped compared to the mostly rectangular silhouette of the phone.

interesting reflection. I'm having a hard time understanding how this shape is produced from the phone's mostly flat sides
