I'm not a scratch-off guy, but sure I appreciate one as a gift every now and then. But if there's a scratch-off that requires me to read and understand rules that is a step too far.

Some would call Vintage Story a horror game. While the monsters have some great designs, if this is a horror game why am I so relaxed when I play it?

A simple dirt and stone cellar in Vintage Story, stocked to the brim with dried meats and sausages, fruit pies, hanging baskets of dried berries, clay vessels full of vegetables and grain, drying pelts, and numerous barrels full of honey, juices, wine, and ale.

Sitting on a bed in my small, simple hut in Vintage Story. It is cluttered with various crates and shelves, with a big Ram skin on the floor as a rug, and a large fireplace in the background behind closed shutters.

A lot of fuss gets made on YouTube thumbnails about how Vintage Story is this "BRUTAL, DIFFICULT SURVIVAL GAME" when in reality the game is mostly just chilling and appreciating the fruits of your efforts. There's nothing like looking at a fully stocked cellar or cozy home as winter sets in.
