The funds have been repaid to the Community Housing Fund revolving loan facility, so that it can be used again to create more community-led housing projects.
Tonic has also converted the 2 unsold shared ownership properties into affordable rented homes.
On 2nd August 2021, Tonic entered into a loan agreement for Β£5.7M from @london.gov.uk to purchase 19 apartments at Bankhouse to create the UKβs first LGBTQ+ affirming retirement community π³οΈβπ π³οΈββ§οΈ
Following the sale of 17 apartments, Tonic has now repaid the entire loan in full!
We look forward to the reports recommendations being taken forward by the government, and playing our part in this to deliver more LGBTQ+ affirming retirement communities.
