I just watched Consoiracy, the HBO movie about the Wannsee Conference. It’s based on the real transcript of the meeting. And they’re joking about Jews “going in red and coming out pink.”

Just a total lack of humanity.

Two horrible points on this:

1. Some countries (France comes to mind) “tried” to protect (for a time) “their” Jews but were fine with deporting “foreign” Jews (refugees) to their deaths.

2. Many Jews who lived in Germany/W-Europe had just fled deadly pogroms in E-Europe and thought they were safe

Antisemites really can’t help themselves when it comes to talking about Israel when anyone mentions anything that has to do with Jews.

Unfortunately, there were too many people across Europe who were more than happy to take advantage of Nazi genocide.

Nothing to do with what I’m talking about. If you feel the need to respond to any post about Jews with criticism of Israel, that’s a you thing.

Responding to a post about the Holocaust with stuff about Israel when no one mentioned Israel. Normal stuff. Definitely not antisemitic.
