Just watched Gaslight (1944) for the first time and it's such a monumental film. Bergman's ending monologue is incredibly cathartic and makes it easy to understand why she is a generational talent. Boyer is phenomenal too bc I havent wanted to beat a fictional man with hammers this badly for a while

I'm hoping she at least appears in louis' mind, just as lestat did for most part of s2, but i don't think I'll ever get used to not have her as a main character. She'll always be haunting the narrative, that's for sure.
