This season sums up the last 15 years really. People trying hard but not knowing fully what they’re doing. Such poor squad planning. I’m sure Rudy wants to do well. Ismael has shown glimpses of what he can do, but there’s only so many times you can get battered, injury crises or not, before players and fans lose patience. Unprecedented circumstances but hard to argue against such a poor record. I’d say start again next season, but in what league?! Big worry

Was never going to be our year. Poor transfer business with little foresight. Sold experience and replaced with people who need time we don’t have. Genuinely feel sorry for De Neve and Henrickson as they’re thrown in out of position and because of an injury crises they can’t be protected

Donnum signing did sound too good to be true! Shame. I only really follow the accounts I think aren’t baiting so it’s a bit of a let down; but happy with the striker we did sign!

Gueye was the best worst player we’ve ever had. Pretty poor on the pitch but seemed a good character off it. Still, I’d much rather a boring good player!

The injuries have jumped up a notch… honestly it doesn’t take an expert to have seen this coming. Tired small squad and asking physical demands of new players not ready for it. Behind the scenes at rovers there doesn’t seem to be the common sense any more in a lot of areas. Lack of leadership

The squad is knackered and decimated by injuries. Was always reliant on not going behind today as the bench has little to offer. This season should be about not getting relegated and getting the players up to speed for next season and I think we’ll be much better

The anniversary kit has been dreadfully handled 😂 I’m not a fan of the design so wouldn’t have been buying it anyway, but such poor marketing and timing (and price!). Shame as I think the merch has been pretty good in recent years as well as the lovely kits and the AOF partnership

Oxford probably the poorest side we’ve played this season, and we weren’t any better! Lots of games this season you can point to great chances not scored that would have changed the game and we’ve suffered again. Opportunity missed tonight
