I find SWs are the -most- critical of the sex trade. The issue needs attention bc, by definition, SW is the commodification of sex, which harms women under capitalism. Sex shouldn't be a commodity, and globally and historically, almost always serves to keep women in a state of impoverishment.

Right now the goal for those critical of sex work is to educate others about the harm and focus on helping build a society that cares for the needs of its women

It shouldn't be criminalized, because that usually only hurts SWs more. Communist society will meet the needs of women and erase commodification of bodies. That's enough for the sex trade to become non-existent, or morph into something else. That's for the people of the future to deal with.

Also worth noting the difference between Marxist-Leninist Vietnam and Pol Pot's regime in Cambodia-- Vietnam was patriotic while also trying to keep Indochina as united as possible.
