Google Maps will rename some iconic locations because the US government said so Google Maps is changing the "Gulf of Mexico" to "Gulf of America" and the "Denali" peak to "Mount McKinley" based on US government orders.

Not really. As a designer I am influenced by so many things and what other artists do. When I'm working on a show there's always a picture or design "thing" that influences my choices. As a photographer I started out by copying what other photographers were doing to better understand the medium.

Continuing to check out what my new (to me) camera can do. For a decade old, discontinued camera, it works really well for everyday photo needs. I need to take it out and really test out what it can do for street photography.

Ah yes .. why would we punish 34 (I'll only refer to him by his felony count instead of his position) further proving as long as you have enough money or clout you are above the law in America.
Any of his voters would have received the full prison term with no chance of parole.
