When you see stats about an increase in people identifying as trans or being diagnosed with gender dysphoria, resist the urge to see it only from the perspective of people who'd prefer those numbers be zero. Every day a trans person is free to be themselves and get the care they need is a good day.
Something I have learned: there will always be bad guys on your side. No side is free of bad guys. The real test of your beliefs is whether you choose to confront those bad guys, or simply No True Scotsman-ize yourself into irrelevance.
Just saw a bad "anti-woke" take recommending that people watch the expanse, and let me just say, if you think the expanse ain't "woke" then all that tells me is that you deeply and fundamentally didn't understand the expanse.
