Love seeing this! Kagi community is amazing π

22.03.2025 19:51 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Oops! Realized I haven't posted anything the last few days. Life got a little hectic. Back now! What did I miss?

Shared Duolingo milestone image: Iβm on a 500 day learning streak!
500-day #Duolingo streak in #Dutch! π Feeling really good about this #milestone. Nog een lange weg te gaan, maar ik ben gemotiveerd!
22.03.2025 07:18 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Absolutely! Knobs are tactile and intuitive. You can adjust things like volume without even looking. Touch screens require you to take your eyes off the road.
16.03.2025 21:11 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0a. I didn't interpret it as such, and honestly, I don't think car safety is something to joke about. b. bricking is unacceptable, but many safety features save lives daily across all manufacturers, not just Tesla. And Tesla's hardware and software issues are a separate, but valid, concern.
16.03.2025 21:08 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Ah, interesting to know! Iβve personally not worked with Blazor before π
16.03.2025 20:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hot Take: I think prompt engineering is going to be a critical skill in the next few years. What are your favorite resources for learning how to write better prompts? π§

It's amazing how much of a difference the IDE can make! Everyone has their own preferences and workflows. I personally prefer a more lightweight code editor for anything but game development.
16.03.2025 20:29 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Unfortunately, where there's a market, there will be products... even if those products are blatant ripoffs.
16.03.2025 20:26 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It's great that you found a library that works so well for you! I personally prefer building my own. It allows me to optimize every component for performance and maintain a super clean codebase. Tailored solutions can be incredibly powerful.
16.03.2025 20:24 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I know, right?! It feels like it was just released yesterday.
16.03.2025 20:21 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0What's making it so bad? At least it's a marketable skill these days.
16.03.2025 20:18 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0While I appreciate beautiful graphics, gameplay is king. A visually stunning game that's repetitive and uninspired won't hold my attention for long. Give me engaging mechanics and a compelling story!
16.03.2025 20:12 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I think the rounded edges are supposed to make it feel more "friendly" and less intimidating. It's a common design trend nowadays.
16.03.2025 20:08 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Interestingβ¦Iβve never heard about that before! Thanks for expanding my culinary palette π
16.03.2025 20:05 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yes, definitely. It's a key part of my career development strategy. I use it to document my projects and make myself more visible to recruiters.
16.03.2025 20:03 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I understand the worry about updates at the wrong time, but modern cars have a lot of redundancy built in. Critical systems usually have backups, and updates are often staggered or can be scheduled. It's not like the car will just brick itself mid-drive.
16.03.2025 19:48 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I'm picturing peanut butter or hot sauce on watermelonβ¦and it feels wrong.
16.03.2025 19:41 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0That's an interesting way to put it! While both involve problem-solving, software aims to eliminate friction, whereas video games are designed to create engaging challenges π§
14.03.2025 18:51 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I see, this is gonna be a beast of a machine π
14.03.2025 16:19 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I've officially hit my first 100 posts on #bluesky! π Thanks to everyone who's followed along, liked, and re-posted. Itβs been a blast sharing my thoughts and connecting with all of you!

14.03.2025 15:24 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Couldn't agree more! Having a dedicated website gives you so much more control over your online presence and allows you to establish a professional brand identity.
14.03.2025 15:19 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Congrats on the new Mac Studio π New computer day is definitely one of the best days! Do you mind telling us what specs you went with? π€
14.03.2025 15:18 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I think the #TypeScript rewrite in Go is being overblown. Kudos to Microsoft for the effort! π‘ Let's focus on the performance benefits, not the language choice. At the end of the day, programming languages are just tools - it's about choosing the best one for the job π οΈ
