Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (First Time)

Everything I love about Reunion and Remake goes double for Rebirth. Another unbelievable game from Square Enix.
However, I have to join in the criticism that there are too many minigames, hence Gameplay being 4/5.

Dissidia Final Fantasy & Dissidia duodecim Final Fantasy - Zidane Tribal

His combat in these games is why I don't want IX Remake to be turn-based. He's just too fun to play as both action-based combat.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII (Reunion) - Zack Fair

Zack's been tugging on my heartstrings since I was a middle schooler. Practically made me the Final Fantasy fan I am today.

I honestly don't have the words for how this game hits me. The combat is astounding, the characters are wonderful, and the story is amazing. Fantastic, indeed.

Reunion recaptured many of the story and character beats I loved about the original. However, this replay tore the rose-tinted glasses off as I grew increasingly dissatisfied with the combat.

Oh look a remaster of a 10+ year old, PS3 locked, teal fonted JRPG that a lot of people love. If only a certain other studio did the same.

This is awesome. I never got to beat the OG version on PS3. Definitely gonna get this when I can.
