I use AI to write stuff. I write as a hobby sometimes and AI let's me focus on what I want to say instead of the 'how'. That being said, I started to avoid the em dash, it's just embarrassing at this point.

Fave Cursor workflow at the moment is get Claude to write feature implementation plans into a markdown document and update it as we go.

Breaks features down into phases with checklists, notes, relevant file lists. Essentially acts as read/write memory to prevent chat context from getting too long.

Language learning apps. I thought it'd be the first market disrupted by LLMs yet I haven't seen a great execution of AI so far. But I'd definitely pay for one.

Too much noise over everything-AI makes it hard to genuinely evaluate MCP. Before I connect all my sensitive data, what are the security implications of MCP? What should I look out for? Beyond naturally querying my database, which is super cool, what are the killer use cases for devs?

Confusing PR to gather some of the biggest names in the space but promote it with outdated cheap AI. Viral nonetheless.

The end user does not care who does the AI heavy lifting but technically most of these companies are simply AI-resellers. Some are very good at that, I also pay for many. But if you think of them as resellers, it is no surprise why most of these companies are marketing focused.

If you are an AI startup because you call a service that implements some advanced AI, I am an AI engineer because I sold things on Amazon.

AI is the ultimate learning tool and an amazing productivity tool but I'm yet to see a guy telling AI is going to take over without shilling something-AI in his bio.

Without any prior professional knowledge in the language, I shipped an audio-video engine written in C++ in a few months. Without AI probably would have taken me double to reach the finish line, although I also did my homework with courses, books and docs.

I had the same experience. It's not going to get you far if you lack context on the tech it generates. It does speed up the learning process a lot, as long as you're interested in understanding what's going on
