The Black Phone - 5/10

Feels like someone's first horror movie. Very amateur writing at times and some really stupid twists, but a solid enough premise.
The escape room parts are engaging and The Grabber was fun, so I kinda wish that was the whole movie.

I tried to incorporate some of the advice given on the sketch, and finished the chubby dog practice.

Shame about that ending. Seemed like it was setting up some neat commentaries about mental health only for it all to be undone in an instant for a hackneyed twist. Mostly enjoyed it up until that.

It has a level of incomplete jank that kinda makes it charming, and it works great with the unique pugly art style. Such an interesting world to explore, full of meaningful choices. You never know what will happen next or what anyone's motivation is. Great stuff.
