I often forget just how hated zoos are. The subject came up today, in class. Pure disgust from every other student in the room at the mere mention of zoophilia. I laughed it off, halfheartedly pretending to agree. It was such a slap to the face.

I am not safe among my peers. And that really hurts.

Therians, otherkin, etc... How did you know? What was it that let you realize this part of you?

In addition to volunteering, which was already mentioned, you can often donate old stuff you otherwise would've thrown out! A lot of recyclables and old fabrics can be repurposed by the shelters. You can look online to find out what sorts of things they need donated
