But that was then. Now I can't help but marvel what a beautiful work of art it is. Tim Burton, Danny Elfman, Sam Hamm and Warren Skaaren created a striking and enduring Hollywood masterpiece. Batman would never be the same, and that's a good thing.
The elements that make this movie successful actually bothered me when the film first came out. Gotham felt unmoored from the real world, the technology and costumes anachronistic to the point of being a huge distraction.
That critter will definitely keep those erasers in line.
