Come along to our boccia tournament on the 30th July 2025. Maldwyn Leisure Centre - Freedom Leisure Arrive at 9.30 play starts at 10am finish at 12.30pm. We hope to bring together a community of people.

N-able β€’ A history from 2006. It all began after a basketball course. We began as a disability sport initiative by Disability Sport Wales Powys CC Teaching Health Board. As time went by funding stopped by which time we had evolved two groups Adult and Junior, it had become quite popular but financially unsupported. A tough decision was needed stop or go it alone, we are still here. We had to change things unfortunately the Junior club became unsustainable but from that was born the Wheelchair sport group open to all abilities with disabled taking priority. Then Covid struck for two years during this time we attended the stroke group in Newtown a Stroke Association Group but the Association stopped operating locally so N-able stepped in. With help we gained charitable status and post pandemic have three groups. Adult multi sports indoor Wheelchair Sport Maldwyn Sport Centre and Neuro / Stroke cafΓ© at Hafren yr afon building Newtown. We also work in the community attending events in Llanidloes, y Fan community and maesywenol community.
