Just a small splurge on fabric yesterday because I was in desperate need of retail therapy. So now I'm set with sewing projects well into the new year.

My husband's so sweet! All he had to do was move the shelves. He also moved all the junk in the corner. Now all I have to do is box up my desk stuff and we might be able to move the L desk tonight!

The last 2 items in my to do list are a mood. I woke up with a headache and on the edge of overwhelm after doing so much yesterday

And I've hit my wall. Joe said they'll move the shelving tomorrow out of the room

One bookshelf clear!

They're helping their parents with measurements for their new condo later today so I don't know how much heavy lifting they'll actually get to but I'm at least doing my part. If all goes as planned, the L desk can move tomorrow and maybe the roll top desk because that's the heaviest piece I have 2/2

Only thing left on one bookshelf is some photo boxes, my wedding album, and a couple scrapbooks. Gotta clear a path for my husband and BIL to move it and then I can finish the other shelf. 1/2

Half hour in. Shelves about half cleared off. But, I'm quickly running out of room to put my crap. I have to do it in short spurts. Because the boxes of books and journals are HEAVY.

If Hubby and Brother-in-law can get the bookshelves out so I can at least shift over the sewing machine today, that'd be helpful. But, I need to clear a path for them to do that.

Today's task before I go to work is to begin clearing out my office so I can rearrange furniture. Hoping Hubby will have success with his interviews this week so I need to take advantage of him still being home with the heavy lifting that needs to be done.

In an ideal world, we could move to a bigger house. But we're in a far from ideal world. We're going to be in this house for... a while. So, blending my maximalist hoarder tendencies with the whimsy aesthetic I strive for to at least make my work space pretty is the goal.

I don't think I'm going to paint the walls. I kinda like the purple. But, my carpet is in desperate need of a cleaning. And, I have just... so... much... STUFF! I either need to purge or reorganize or a bit of both to make things more manageable.

I fell down a home renovation rabbit hole on YouTube and now I want to completely redo my office. Like move furniture and everything. I should get Joe's help to do that while he's home because I have the strength of an overcooked noodle and my desks are heavy AF.

Got some coffee theme PET tape and I completely used up those florals in my assorted November page setups.

22,556! My work time is almost over and I need to give my fingers a break. Not bad for a day's work.

Split chapter 11 in half so now there's 19 chapters plus prologue. Word count now 20,367!

Added chapter 10. Word count now 19,231. Not too bad. Chapter 11 is a bit of a long one so that will definitely add some bulk.

10 chapters done. Minus the outline and the chapter left to revise, my word count is 18,907. I'm pretty confident I can more than double that for the second half of the book.

Finally working on my edits again for New Witch On Campus. Current word count- 28,071 Not too bad for only about half of it being fully written.

Dear Michaels, why are you chopping up my fabric order? Maybe we want all 7 yards together!

Why is my brain like this? 🙄😩

Fortunately, I cleaned it up but Hubby got irritated with me. He says it's fine but my brain is saying it's not and I didn't even eat my dinner. Completely lost my appetite. So, if I never cook again, or just warm up stuff like frozen dinners or leftovers from mom/mil, I won't eff things up anymore.

Today? I made pizzas and pizza turnovers. Peanut's pizza puffed like crazy and was all crust. Mine, the cheese didn't all the way melt. Worst of all, I forgot to take out the pots and pans and things that were temporarily stored in the oven before I turned the heat on and melted our strainer handle.
