Overall it seems like a neat addition and probably a good value add for all the people who weren’t happy with the original version of the Master Collection, I am not one of those people though lolololol

It looks fine in still images but on-screen it looks kinda cheesy and plain, especially when the on-screen credits are fading in and out.

They were also extremely conservative with the interface in general - the Codec interface is mostly the same albeit slightly pixelated, as is the alert/caution box. Kinda not liking the new font though lol

They touched up VR Missions too, original on the left and max res on the right. They did not, however, touch the FMV intro (or any of the FMV at all from what I can tell)

Can’t see the details as well on mobile but here’s a comparison of the title screen in normal res (left) and max res (right) at 4k. The picture of Snake has way more detail now.

I am not going to play the whole thing right now because I don’t have time to do so but right off the bat I noticed you can actually read some of the text on the monitors in the intro, this is basically a full-ass official HD texture pack
