The moon granted me the comfort of my father. The spirit of my father shall always be with me, in the gentle nights embrace. Stars twinkle in the deep blue sky, its gradient only enhancing the beauty and comfort. My father is always with me, as the night is with the moon.

“No matter what, I'll be there for you my dear. I know times may be hard, and sometimes I may not be there in person, but my spirit and soul will always be connected to you. As the moon is always there for its sun.” These words carry the weight of the suffering I feel off me.

Staring into the Moon, I think of my father, already feeling his absence. Yet, no matter how much the pain hurts, I feel comforted. My mind is racing still, but yet it slows down, feeling my Fathers graceful and gentle touch. The last thing my father said to me now echoing throughout my being.

Suddenly, in the middle of the pain, the torment, I feel someone’s gentle touch. Glancing up, I see who it is. The Moon extended its hand towards me, comforting me when no one could. Yet, this feeling isn't new to me. No, it’s all too familiar.

Stars gleaming in the night sky. My mother gently hugged me as the moon’s embrace comforted us both. We look up towards the kind, gentle being, embracing us both in a way we have not felt in a long time. It was similar to the warm, yet cold embrace of a father.
