Not all main characters are lovable. This is a high angst and heat story with an MC navigating mental health issues and a lot of baggage. The side characters are delightful.

Book review: This whole series is a delightful read. Unlike the previous books, the start of this one is sappy and sad before it gets sweet, and oh my god, the pining. The story ends in a happy surprise.

Told from the perspective of a child and set in the backdrop of the Lankan conflict, the story is heartbreaking at points. The keen observant eyes of a child trying to decipher the adult world are vivdly described. But it is also a story of pain and finding oneself.
A YA romcom. A hilarious take on teen shenanigans to find purpose and love. Each character in the teen ensemble has a role to play in the fast-paced narrative, keeping the reader on edge. The drama will make you smirk or roll your eyes, and the comedy will leave you laughing.

Genre, writing and market demand are the drivers.
Story 7
Finished a 10-hour office grind. What do you need? A cab ride home after a tough day. Or...a prospect of an adventure.

The story is fast-paced, combining mysticism with sci-fi and space travel.
The concept of using the five elements as a theme for this story was intriguing because, in Hinduism, our bodies are believed to be composed of these five elements and are ultimately returned to them upon death.

Manifesting that someone takes a chance on these boys.
Till then you could read their stories if you still haven't so you can tell me later whether you liked the novel or the movie.
On a serious note.
Which of these would you watch based on the poster?
Happy to share this anthology of children's stories. I have contributed one story to this collection of folktales and grandparents stories set in India. And also did the illustrations for cover and interior.

Story 6- You have only seen these things happen in movies, heard those lyrics while swooning over Hindi movie songs. So why are those words ringing in your ears now?
But does everything need to have a label?

Story 5
When you are alone and time is running out, you take chances because a kiss can change a life. The mathematician in him was happy. More chances. Better permutations and combinations. Higher intersection on the Venn diagram. So what's the harm in meeting five strangers on a date?

I mostly read Indie/ Self-Pub books. But in April for Indieapril and in June for Pride month, I make a special effort to read new authors. Here is my 2025 Pride Month new author list. Two more remain because J and V woke up one night and wrecked havoc in my reading and writing schedule.
